Dr. Feinstein

Dr. Feinstein was born and raised in New York and proudly considers herself a bagel and pizza connoisseur. After relocating to Maryland more than 40 years ago, she quickly embraced local traditions and feels right at home at any crab feast. She is one of the original founders of Cat and Dog Hospital of Columbia and has been an integral part of the practice since its beginnings.

If Dr. Feinstein hadn’t pursued a career in veterinary medicine, her love for continuous office renovations suggests she may have found her calling in interior decorating. She lives in Howard County with her husband, Bryan, along with their three dogs and two cats.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Feinstein enjoys both the mountains and the ocean equally, rarely turns down chocolate in any form, gravitates toward the color blue, and is known for making an excellent corned beef and cabbage.

Dr. McPartland

Dr. McPartland

Dr. McPartland is originally from Illinois, where she also attended veterinary school. She spent some of her formative years living in Belgium and can still confidently converse in French.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. McPartland is an avid birder who enjoys helping track migrating flocks and participating in conservation projects. When she’s not out with the birds, she treasures spending quality time with her family—especially her young grandson.

Dr. McPartland attends an annual quilting camp with her family, where she creates truly beautiful works of art. A dark chocolate enthusiast, she typically requests an ice cream cake to celebrate her birthday. Her favorite color falls somewhere between burgundy and maroon, and she’s well known for baking an exceptional peach pie.

She and her husband, Kevin, enjoy traveling whenever they have the opportunity.

Dr. Jennifer Blair

Dr. Jennifer Blair

Dr. Blair has been practicing at Cat and Dog Hospital for over eight years. She was born in Rochester, New York, but spent most of her formative years in Ohio and attended the Veterinary College at Ohio State. She enjoys both office visits and surgery, bringing her skills and compassion to every patient she sees.

A chocolate enthusiast, Dr. Blair’s favorite birthday cakes are raspberry or strawberry chocolate combinations. Her go-to ice cream is chocolate chip, though she occasionally indulges in rainbow sherbet. Purple is her favorite color.

Outside of work, she and her husband, Chris, enjoy long rides on their Can-Ams and are frequent visitors to Colonial Williamsburg. Dr. Blair is also a passionate hockey fan and proudly supports the Washington Capitals.

Dr. Justina Supria

Dr. Justina Supria is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who takes pride in her strong educational foundation and commitment to patient care. She earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine—both esteemed HBCUs that helped shape her passion for service and excellence in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Supria has a special interest in small animal preventive care, pain management, and integrative medicine, focusing on helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives. For the past four years, she has served as a relief veterinarian at Cat and Dog Hospital of Columbia, where she has built lasting relationships with clients and their pets. She is excited to now make her role official and continue providing consistent, high-quality care to the community.

Known for her warm and attentive approach, Dr. Supria treats every patient as if they were her own beloved pet. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young boys, and their fur baby, Appa. In her free time, she loves traveling, exploring new eateries, and watching movies.

Dr. Supria looks forward to partnering with you to provide exceptional, personalized care for your fur baby.

Brett

Brett, Technician

Brett joined our practice when COVID was in full swing, so with him being fully masked, we didn’t know what he looked like for months! He is our “go-to” for any technical or computer issue. Punk rock is his music genre, and never argue with him about a video game—Brett is always correct. He is that guy that you want on your Trivia team. Brett is kind and caring, and can frequently be found giving extra attention to a hospitalized patient. Brett is upbeat with his dry humor and keeps his cohorts happy with home-baked goodies.

Karol

Karol, Technician

Karol joined our clinic in 2022 and is dedicated to making every patient feel as loved and comfortable as possible during their visit. She takes pride in ensuring each pet receives gentle and attentive care, treating them as if they were her own. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two toddlers, especially getting out for walks together. Karol has two cats, Felix (a tuxedo) and Lionel (a black domestic shorthair), who keep her on her toes. She’s also a big fan of horror movies, iced coffee (always iced), and traveling to new places—bonus points if there’s a beach involved. Her favorite work quote? “The day’s not over until you smell like ear goop.
Elliot

Elliot, Technician

Elliott joined our clinic in 2021 and brings nearly a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, along with a background in pre-veterinary biomedical science from Penn State. He has a knack for reading between the lines with his patients, allowing him to anticipate their needs and think creatively to support both pets and their people.

Outside of the clinic, Elliott keeps busy with a wide range of hobbies: from leatherworking, blacksmithing, and stained glass to rock climbing, powerlifting, sword fighting, and hiking. He’s also into gaming, 3D modeling, and tabletop adventures, so there’s a good chance he has a story (or two) to share. You might spot him out enjoying the weather at the cemetery with his two ferrets, Rain and Storm.

Around the clinic, Elliott is known for his thoughtful approach to patient care, his ability to find solutions that others might not think of, and his quick wit. He’s always ready with a well-timed joke or clever comment to keep the team smiling.
